Moxie is a gorgeous black and white girl! She has a high prey drive, and likes to hunt critters on her walks. Moxie gets along with other dogs, but barks at cats. She can be shy with new people, but warms up quickly. Moxie is about 2 years old. She is great on a leash and loves to cuddle at night. Mr Kip

Mr. Kip was dropped off in a box in front of a Veterinarian's office in Memphis, TN (he now lives in Jacksonville, FL). His current owner took him home to foster, but after a month decided to adopt him. Kip is a very energetic dog; he loves to go on walks and play tug; his owner says he will chase a ball as long as anyone will keep throwing it. Sadly, over the past few months Mr Kip has exhibited difficulty getting along with the other dogs living in the home; there have been some aggressive incidents, and because Kip is so much bigger than his house-mates they have not fared well in the exchanges. Mr Kip is a great dog, but we believe that he would be best as an only dog. That way he can focus all of his charm and energy on making his family happy and safe. Mr Kip is 6 years old, and weighs 45 pounds. More pictures of Kip can be seen here in his album.

My name is Dashley - Dashley Longworth. I'm about 6 years old, housebroken, weigh about 20 pounds, and I am very, very sweet. I love to be talked to, and I like taking walks in my fostermom's big yard. I might be a Rat Terrier and Corgi mix, or maybe just a "b type" Rattie. I have a stubby tail that I love to wag. Oreo

Oreo is another one of our sad stories, but we are determined to find him his Happily Ever After. He was confiscated when his owner was hospitalized, and then his owner passed away - and no relatives claimed Oreo. He was in danger of being euthanized, so we had to act fast. Oreo was suffering from an ear infection, and he had a lot of hair loss due to flea bite dermatitis. He has been taking some supplements and getting medicated baths to help his skin get healthy again. Oreo has soulful eyes and he is SUCH a great boy. He is fine with cats and other dogs, and great on a leash; he just wants someone to love. Oreo is 6 to 8 years old - young for a Terrier! To see more pictures of Oreo please visit his album.

Seniors for Seniors Candidate
Hey there! My name was Machete, but my foster peeps call me Big Mac. I am so lucky to be a Ratbone Rescues dog! My human parent passed away and I was living outside on a patio by myself (my parent's family would stop by once a day to feed and water me). I hadn't had any vet care in many years, and really needed a good check up. I have gotten used to eating beans and rice, so having to switch to dog food wasn't fun, but I like when special treats like canned food are added to my meals. I've been told I'm overweight, and I have been put on a diet. Being so heavy isn't good for me, and I don't understand why they say I have rolls. I am very social, and love people and doggies but i cannot STAND those things called cats. No cats for me! Anyway, thanks for reading all about me, I am looking for a family to love me forever.
