Adopted!
CongRATs to the Alexander family!
Location: Florida
Meet Zoey! Little Zoey is an 8 month old, 8 pound Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix; a teeny tiny cuddly sweetheart! She was found running loose, and a good Samaritan picked up her and took her to a vet to check for a microchip. No microchip was found, and the signs they posted produced no leads on finding her former owners. A few months later Zoey walked under the grandma's legs, causing her to fall, so the Samaritan had to re-home her fast. Zoey was quite afraid of dogs when she came to her foster home, but now she likes to check them out and play with the gentle ones. She loves kitties and enjoys lap time, walks, and loves to snuggle. Zoey is crate trained and extremely sweet. She is up to date on her vaccines now, and she'll be spayed in a few weeks. This little girl is a total doll! For more pictures of Zoey Ratbone please check out her photo album.

Tito

|
Location: Florida
Eight month old Tito's owners were moving into an apartment but didn't want to pay the pet deposit, so they took him to a high-kill shelter. He was intercepted by a volunteer and is now in foster care (with both dogs & cats). Tito gets along with dogs of both sexes, but he really loves the ladies. He is good with kids, but he may be better suited to older children, due to his teeny tiny size. Tito does not conform to the typical image of a purebred Rat Terrier, but he does have a typical a Rattie personality, so we believe he's either a Rattie/Chi mix, or a Rattie/Min Pin mix. Tito is very affectionate, and loves to be with people. He cries when he is left alone, but quiets down after a few moments. We are working on crate training, and he has already improved immensely in that regard. He likes to be under the covers at night, or to share a doggie bed with another canine. You can see more pictures of Tito in his photo album.

Marvin

My name is Marvin, and I'm 7 years old. I came from a terrible home, along with my fellow fosterRat, Becky Blossom. Things are pretty calm around my fostermom's house, though. We get to go outside and play, and we also get to have plenty to eat and drink. Our fostermom gives us lots of positive reinforcement when we do good things, too. I am learning to walk on a leash; it was very hard for me to do in the beginning. I didn't know what it was and what I was supposed to do, but I found out that it meant going outside and maybe also going somewhere in the car, so I'm fairly fine with it now. I like to sleep on the sofa and go explore the yard. I also like treats! I may need a fenced in yard since, like Becky Blossom, I get scared of things. Even with that, I'm a good boy who will love whoever adopts me very much. You can see my other pictures here.

Diglet

Location: Florida
Diglet and his siblings were born on June 24th, 2016. We were blessed with a litter of 5 plump and healthy babies. Because of their coloring, we think their daddies were an Australian Cattle Dog, and possibly a Border Collie. Diglet was the first puppy born. He has beautiful marking and tons of spots! His foster mom loves to kiss his plump spotted puppy belly - when he isn't wiggling, trying to kiss her, or chew on her glasses. Diglet and his siblings have met kitties in their playroom, and they love to rough and tumble. Whereas these cuties will be a little larger than your average Rat Terriers, they are wonderfully happy, healthy, adorable, rolly polly puppies, and should be sturdy enough to play with even young children. Becky Blossom

Location: Indiana
My name is Becky Blossom, and I'm about 4 years old, spayed, and working on house training. I am a Rattie-Chihuahua mix. I like my fostermom a lot, and love to sit on her lap. I came from a very dysfunctional home, so I scare easily. My fostermom has taken things very slowly with me, and I'm starting to come around and be a friendly, good girl. I don't know much about walking on a leash, but I am willing to work on it; I have improved a lot since I got my new home. I love my fellow fosterRat, Marvin - who was one of my friends at my former home; my vet thinks Marvin may be my father. I will need a house with a fenced in yard, as I may run away if something
scares me. Here is my photo album (tho I don't like my picture taken much). Do you have a place in your heart for me? I bet with time I could be your very best friend in all the world.
