Gator male

2017-08-12

Location: Florida

Gator is a recent rescue. This malnourished, but beautiful, 1 year old boy was found when a member of the local SPCA went to save some emaciated horses in NW Miami. We were told about him on a Friday night, and made plans to collect him Saturday afternoon. Gator is a VERY sweet boy, who loves to give kisses and stick close to his fostermom. He gets along fine with the other dogs who are his size, but seems a little intimidated by large dogs at the moment. Gator is fine with kitties. He is learning about walking on a leash, and he is crate trained. Gator needs to gain some weight, and needs lots of love and cuddles to make him happy.

Marvin male

Location: Indiana

Seniors for Seniors Candidate
My name is Marvin, and I'm 7 years old. I came from a terrible home, along with my fellow fosterRat, Becky Blossom. Things are pretty calm around my fostermom's house, though. We get to go outside and play, and we also get to have plenty to eat and drink. Our fostermom gives us lots of positive reinforcement when we do good things, too. I am learning to walk on a leash; it was very hard for me to do in the beginning. I didn't know what it was and what I was supposed to do, but I found out that it meant going outside and maybe also going somewhere in the car, so I'm fairly fine with it now. I like to sleep on the sofa and go explore the yard. I also like treats! I may need a fenced in yard since, like Becky Blossom, I get scared of things. Even with that, I'm a good boy who will love whoever adopts me very much. You can see my other pictures here.

Blaze male

2016-09-18

Location: Indiana

I am 6-7 years old, tall and long legged. I like to take walks. I am, of course, housebroken, and I keep my crate spotless! I like girl dogs but not boy dogs. I don't like small children very much, because I lived in a home with two little ones, and they liked to bother me. My fostermom thinks I would do best as an only dog, or maybe I can tolerate living in a home with a girl dog. I would probably do best with a fenced yard, but I can be walked if you don't have a fence. I think I'd be a good match for adults who like to take walks, so I can explore. It took me awhile to get used to my fostermom, but now I really like her and give her nice kisses when she asks. I weigh about 15 pounds. Here is a link to my photo album. I could be a great dog for the right person. Is that you?
