Guinness female

2017-11-04

Location: Florida

Say hello to Guinness! This beautiful two year old girl is very affectionate, and loves to be around people. She is always the first one to greet her fostermom when she comes home from work. Guinness gets along very well with other dogs, and is a low to medium energy girl. She is around 15 pounds, and has the most expressive eyes you've ever seen. Guinness is crate trained, and loves treats and cuddles!

Lily female

2017-06-11

Location: Florida

Seniors for Seniors Candidate
Lovely Lily has a heart of pure gold. This beautiful lil girl was adopted from Ratbone Rescues in 2010. She recently was returned to rescue because her owner fell ill and could no longer take care of her. Lily has cataracts in both eyes, but once she learns her way around she does very well. She walks well on a harness, but she steps uncertainly in new surroundings, which is understandable. Often times her fostermom carries her out to the yard to go potty and she enjoys sniffing the fresh breeze before they come back inside. Lily is a very sweet senior; even though her vision is impaired she is still a genuine sweetie. She is very cuddly and craves human interaction. Lily does fine with dogs and cats, but would do best with calm, respectful dogs. She is believed to be around 9 years old, and weighs about 8 to 10 pounds. Nacho Bud male

2007-03-14

Location: Kansas

Seniors for Seniors Candidate
Maybe he's "Nacho Bud" (not yo' bud) yet, but he would like to be if you will give him a chance! Little Nacho is 12 pounds and now about 9 years old. He spent his first year or so being used for breeding and receiving questionable treatment. He is timid when he meets someone and he is definitely hand-shy. He will yelp if startled and if approached too quickly he will run away. He will come looking for attention, though, if a person is still and will come when called if not being pursued. Nacho likes to get up and sit on a lap and be petted; although he is a bit tense when he first gets there, he will relax after he is petted for a few minutes. Although he is not aggressive toward children (or people in general), he is likely too timid to do well in a home with active children. He is good with other dogs but doesn't like to play too rough. He can get into a bit of dominant posturing with other males so would be better with female or easy-going male dogs. Or he'd undoubtedly enjoy being an only dog as this would give him more undivided attention to help him get over his insecurity. He is not interested in cats. He uses a dog door reliably and is well behaved in his crate.

Marley male

2017-11-04

Location: Florida

Marley is mega adorable! This pretty boy and his twin (Harley) were surrendered to our rescue because they were chasing their former owner's chickens. They lived mostly outdoors, so they are getting lessons in "inside living". Both boys are afraid of large dogs, and could really use loving adopters where they would be the only pet, so they can get spoiled to the moon and back. Marley is the shorter of the 2 brothers and he has a noticeable overbite. He is very wiggly and a happy 5 month old Rattie boy.
