Moxie female

2016-05-25

Location: Florida

Moxie is a gorgeous black and white girl! She has a high prey drive, and likes to hunt critters on her walks. Moxie gets along with other dogs, but barks at cats. She can be shy with new people, but warms up quickly. Moxie is about 2 years old. She is great on a leash and loves to cuddle at night. Please visit Moxie's photo album to see more pictures of this lovely girl.

Louise female

2017-08-12

Location: Nebraska

Hi! My name is Louise, but my foster family just calls me LouLou. I am a one year old girl. I am very tall and weigh about 25 pounds. My fostermom told me she thinks I might have Decker bloodlines! I don't know what that means... I just know that I am really cute! I'm pretty smart, too. I know how to sit and stay. I'm crate trained and potty trained. I'm still working on only playing with my own toys though. The people stuff is just so fun! I still kinda consider myself a puppy. I'm learning, though! I like other dogs; it took me a little while to become part of the pack, but I made friends pretty easy. Other dogs tend to intimidate me until I get to know them, but I think I might like to have a friend at my new home. I really love people the most. I can make friends with new people very quickly as long as they are willing to cuddle me! I would be okay with having older children in my family, but I may knock younger children over by accident. And if you have any cats, I love to chase those things! If you think you might be my family, I can't wait to hear from you!

Mable female

2009-02-28

Location: Oklahoma

Seniors for Seniors Candidate
Mable came to Ratbone Rescues after her owner passed away. She has been in her foster home for a few years now, and is looking for her forever home. Mable’s weight stays around 15 pounds. She is very well mannered and leash trained; when walking, if the leash touches her backside she will stop and sit, and move only when told to do so. Mable likes to sleep curled up in her own bed (she doesn't like crates), but will jump in bed with you during thunderstorms. She loves to have her belly rubbed, go for long walks in the park, and lay around. Mable is not a barker, unless someone is at the door or in her yard. If a dog could be described as a perfect little lady – that description would fit Mable. Children love her, as do the adults who meet her. She does not play with toys or other dogs, and seems to be a loner - although the younger foster dog in the home follows her around (which Mable doesn't seem to mind). Mable will be 13 years old in 2015, and she wears her age very well. As you can see, she has a beautiful face and eyes, and with her gentle personality she is a favorite with visitors. To see all of Mable's pictures please click here. Mable does have a thyroid issue, which she takes medicine for twice daily. The cost of her medicine is $15.00 per month. Mable is a sweet, lovable dog, looking for that special someone to spend her time with. Would that be you?

Brina female

2016-09-18

Location: Florida

Seniors for Seniors Candidate
Brina is an 11 year old diva. She was adopted from Ratbone Rescues 10 years ago, and was recently returned. Her adopter was experiencing major health issues and could no longer take care of her. It was not easy for her adopter to return her, but she had to do what was best for herself, and for Brina. Our Brina is the type of girl who likes to go for short walks (not long ones!), but she likes to go out when she very well feels like it! She is good on a leash, but will let you know when she wants to go back inside. Brina loves her crate, but likes to "try out" other crates and beds, too! She is social with dogs when she gets to know them, but was used to being an "only child". Brina doesn't like cats - but the worst she will do is bark at them if they come too close. Ms Brina is looking for her special retirement home, one where people will cater to her, put pretty collars on her, and get her lots of comfy doggie beds. She was very overweight when we picked her up, which is not good for an older gal, and she is doing well on a diet. To see more pictures of our beautiful girl, please use this link.

Raynie female

2017-08-12

Location: Florida

Raynie is a happy little 12 week old pipsqueak. Her and her mama (Rayna) had been living out on the streets. Lil Raynie was almost hit by a car, and a kind gentleman ran out to secure her and her mama, then contacted rescues to take the small family in. Raynie is fast on her feet and LOVES to play. She thinks plush toys are super fun to play with; she also loves playing with her foster friends. Raynie is used to kitties, so she is cat friendly. Her mom is just 8 pounds, and we do not know who her daddy is so, Raynie MAY stay small.
