Freya female

2017-08-12

Location: Florida

Freya is a gorgeous little 14 week old girl, with short legs and a cropped tail. She came into rescue very frightened, and she was accustomed to living outdoors. No more of that kind of living for our little Princess Freya! Tiny Freya is as fast as a jackrabbit; she LOVES to run, and stops only briefly to give kisses before she pops up and starts racing around, playing again. She loves her foster friends, and she ADORES her Auntie Ava (the Pointer). Freya is looking for love, and lots & LOTS of cuddles. Please note that she is a kissy girl, and loves to smother your face with kisses.

Lily female

2017-06-11

Location: Florida

Seniors for Seniors Candidate
Lovely Lily has a heart of pure gold. This beautiful lil girl was adopted from Ratbone Rescues in 2010. She recently was returned to rescue because her owner fell ill and could no longer take care of her. Lily has cataracts in both eyes, but once she learns her way around she does very well. She walks well on a harness, but she steps uncertainly in new surroundings, which is understandable. Often times her fostermom carries her out to the yard to go potty and she enjoys sniffing the fresh breeze before they come back inside. Lily is a very sweet senior; even though her vision is impaired she is still a genuine sweetie. She is very cuddly and craves human interaction. Lily does fine with dogs and cats, but would do best with calm, respectful dogs. She is believed to be around 9 years old, and weighs about 8 to 10 pounds. To see more pictures of Lily please click here for her album.

Panda Baby female

2017-08-12

Location: Florida

Lil Panda Baby is an adorable, tiny girl. She has lots of love to give, and great big ears; all the better to hear how CUTE she is! Panda is a very recent rescue, so she is not quite available - but soon. She LOVES to give kisses, and enjoys playing with other dogs. Panda has cats in her foster home, so she will be a cat friendly Rat Terrier. This adorable little pixie-dog is only 5 months old. She weighs just 6 pounds, so she should remain quite small when grown.

Shamrock female

2017-04-23

Location: Oklahoma

Shamrock (aka Shammie) was rescued from a hoarding situation, along with her sister Thistle (recently adopted). They came to their foster home very fearful and traumatized, so Thistle was sent to another foster home, to get individual attention. Over the past months Shammie has worked hard to be a normal puppy. She's worked very hard on housebreaking and crate training, and she has accomplished her goals! Shammie was born on April 7, 2016 - which makes her a bit over a year old. She weighs 12 pounds, and is at a very good weight for her age. Shammie loves playing with her foster-siblings, and even plays with the cat & kitten in her foster home. She has not been around children while in foster-care, but should do well with slightly older kids who know how to treat a dog. To see more of Shammie's pictures please use this link.

Sheba female

2013-09-29

Location: Ohio

Seniors for Seniors Candidate
Hi! I'm Sheba, a 7 year old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Somehow I found myself stranded in a rural Ohio shelter when my family was no longer able to care for me. That's when I got lucky and Ratbone found me. I'm currently living with my fostermom and her dogs. I'm fine with other dogs, although I was a little frightened of the big dog a first, but I got use to him. My fostermom says I'm the sweetest thing and love everyone. I do think everyone should like me, and I want them to pet me; I'm very friendly. I probably should be in a home with adults or older children - no small, young children, as I'm a little set in my ways. I have this unique personality that when I want something I growl to let you know. I'm not mean at all, just trying to get your attention. Did I mention that I'm housebroken, too? I'm sure if you looked at my pictures you'll notice that I'm a little chunky. My fostermom says I need to lose weight and we have to work on that.... Well, I'm an older girl, and I do enjoy my food! I have a bad habit that my fostermom is trying to stop, but I'm not cooperating... I like to sneak in the bathroom and unroll the toilet paper, and I do eat some of it, but I'm hungry! I like to go for walks, too! So if you're looking for an older, friendly, mostly quiet (OK - I do bark a bit, especially at the dogs next door) girl that just wants to be loved, petted, go for a nice walk and have a soft cushion to lay on (preferably on a couch or chair).... you've found her! Here are some more pictures of me.
