Thistle female

2017-03-01

Adopted!

CongRATs to the Lampe family!

Location: Nebraska

Hi! My name is Thistle, but I just go by Tissy for short. I am nine months young and ready to have fun! My favorite things are cuddling with my foster parents and playing with the other dogs in the house. I love other little dogs like me and big dogs are okay too as long as they are calm. They gotta understand that that I am only seven pounds! Cats are okay too, but not as fun as my dog sisters! I have not spent much time around children, but I could probably learn to live with them as long as they are calm and gentle with me. New people are a little scary to me still. I was not socialized when I was a baby, so people can still be intimidating if I donít know them. My trust is starting to grow, though. Since I got a late start, I am still working on potty training. I am getting better with practice! I really like to please my people, as I'm still gaining my confidence. I sleep through the night, in bed, without any accidents, and I am crate trained. I am so excited for the day I find my new forever home. To see more pictures of me please click here and visit my album. Would you like to be my family?

Roxie female

2017-05-14

Location: Florida

Roxie is cute as a button, and only 8 months old! She is a Rat Terrier/Dachshund mix, and ADORABLE! This girl was turned in with her sister Ruby because the owner had too many dogs. Ruby & Roxie were very frightened at the shelter and needed some TLC, and to learn how to trust again. Roxie likes to play with most dogs, but she can be on the bossy side. She is working on her crate training currently. Roxie is new a arrival, so we'll have more information about her SOON! At this point, we don't yet know how Roxie is with cats, but we do know that she will give "doe eyes" to anyone with a treat. To see more pictures of Roxie, please click here.

Daisy female

2017-04-09

Adoption Pending!

CongRATs to the Boggs family!

Location: Florida

Have you ever seen a creature so tiny and beautiful? Daisy is a gorgeous little girl, not even 5 pounds at 5 months of age. She LOVES dog and cats, and thinks racing around wagging her little tiny white tipped tail is great fun. She has lots of puppy energy, and acts like she's a big girl, even though she isn't. Daisy is paper trained, working on crate training, and she will potty outside in the yard. She is a tiny girl with a tiny puppy bladder, so she shouldn't be left alone for long periods of time. Daisy loves to cuddle up to any and all dogs, but only after she's finished doing her little puppy zoomies. Because Daisy is so tiny - teacup size really - we are restricting her availability to homes with adults only. More pictures of Daisy can be found here in her album.

Gigi Monkey female

2017-04-09

Adopted!

CongRATs to the Dennehy family!

Location: Florida

This sweet, 5 month old lil nugget was at a kill shelter in Florida. She was surrendered with her sister; sadly, only her sister was adopted at the adoption event, and this little one was in immediate need. We named her Gigi, and she is SUCH a sweet pup. She has quite the underbite, and it makes her look like she's pouting, when in reality she is jumping for joy. Literally. Gigi's nickname is Monkey; she is very agile, and loves to CLIMB up the couch when her little tiny puppy legs were too short to boost her up. Gigi likes to perch on the backs of couches, and likes to settle herself on top of a pillow on top of a doggie crate to watch TV. She is very friendly, and loves to wiggle into laps and give tons of kisses. Gigi is crate trained, and pee pee pad trained. Being a young baby, she cannot "hold it" all day - so she'd need a quick potty break at lunchtime if her new parents work. Check out Gigi Monkey's album here. Apply today to adopt this cute lil baby faced Gigi Ratbone.
