Jock Cheddar

2016-09-18
|
Location: Oklahoma
Jock Cheddar came to us from a hoarder, who had dozens of dogs, and no way to properly socialize them, so Jock was very shy and insecure. He is now very well adjusted, and loves to be held, cuddled, and even kissed. Jock is about 7 months old, and weighs about 9 pounds. "Jockie" is almost always busy, and plays well with the other dogs - and also with the kitties. He is still a bit "mouthy" with hands, especially when he's excited, but we are working on this with him. Jock is housebroken when kept to a schedule, and keeps his crate clean and dry overnight and when we have to be away from home; he isn't crazy about being in his crate at other times, unless it involves a meal. Diva

2016-08-14
|
Location: Florida
Diva and her siblings were born June 24th, 2016. We were blessed with a litter of 5 plump and healthy babies. Because of their coloring, we think their daddies were an Australian Cattle Dog, and possibly a Border Collie. Diva was the fourth pup to be born AND our only girl! From the minute she came out, she was talkative - and complaining! - so her fostermom chose the name DIVA for her out of all of the girlie names she had written on a list. Being the only girl, she would be a diva or a tomboy, and she is quite girly. Diva was born all white with 2 black patches on her face, and now she has a mottled black white and gray coat. Her fostermom loves to kiss her plump puppy belly, and Diva LOVES it! She also loves having her belly rubbed, being held, and getting lots of kisses. Diva and her siblings have met kitties in their playroom, and they love to rough and tumble. Whereas this little cutie will be a little larger than your average Rat Terriers, she is a wonderfully happy, healthy, adorable, rolly polly puppy, and should be sturdy enough to play with even young children. Linus Peanuts

2016-08-14
|
Location: Florida
Linus and his brothers were dumped at a trailer park in Miami. The people that found them took them to the shelter even though they were at risk of being put to death there. One of our volunteers saw them and made an immediate plan to get all four of them out.The puppies spent a few days at the vets office because they had upper respiratory infections. Linus is one of the smallest boys, and like the cartoon character, he loves blankets. He has some skin conditions that we are working on; he is on antibiotics and supplements for his skin & coat currently. He is SUCH a sweet boy, and he has tons of love to give. Linus will be available for adoption later in the month, when he is all healed up. Linus is 4 months old. To see more pictures of Linus and the Gang please click here for the Peanuts Gang's album.

Adopted!
CongRATs to the Guidice family!
Location: Florida
DJ and his siblings were born on June 24th, 2016. We were blessed with a litter of 5 plump and healthy babies. Because of their coloring, we think their daddies were an Australian Cattle Dog, and possibly a Border Collie. DJ was the third pup to be born. He has beautiful markings and a gorgeous mask on his face! DJ is a little fluffier than siblings and his fur is very soft. His fostermom loves to kiss his plump puppy belly, when he isn't wiggling and trying to kiss her, pull her hair or chew on her glasses. DJ and his siblings have met kitties in their playroom, and they love to rough and tumble. Whereas these cuties will be a little larger than your average Rat Terriers, they are wonderfully happy, healthy, adorable rolly polly puppies, and should be sturdy enough to play with even young children. Cricket

|
Location: Florida
Our sweet 4 month old Cricket comes to us from Georgia, where she and her brother Cody were in the shelter in Valdosta. Both were in danger of being euthanized; Cody because of an injured and misshapen paw, and Cricket because of mange. Cricket is a sweet little puppy who LOVES to give gentle kisses. She is submissive to the other puppies in her foster home, but loves loves loves to run and play and try to be part of the pack. Cricket is currently under treatment for demodectic mange, which is not contagious to humans or other dogs. This cutie will be available SOON, once her skin condition has been cleared up. More pictures of Cricket can be found here in her album.
